Aspelta
The king, who reigned at the end of the 7th century BC or at the beginning
of the 6th century BC was buried in a pyramid at Nuri in a sarcophagus, decorated
with pyramid texts. Several hieroglyphic inscriptions in Egyptian record events
of his reign.
