Well, I did and now I am one! I work on excavations in Egypt where we dig in the ground to find ancient buildings and objects.

WHY AM I AN ARCHAEOLOGIST?
I'm an archaeologist because I'm curious about history and about life long ago. I want to know how people lived without computers, chocolate or plastic. Maybe you are wondering what life was like back then, too.

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE AN ARCHAEOLOGIST?
An archaeologist has to be curious about things and be someone who always asks questions. Does that sound like you? Lots of times we still don't know the answers, but we keep hoping one day we will!
