Collections management
The Collections Management Team works across the many fundamental and diverse areas of collections management and collections care. The team is responsible for our collections care and conservation programme, object transportation, storage, documentation, legal compliance, collections policies and procedures, and loans.
Additionally, we manage our flagship teaching space, the Object Based Learning Lab, and we set the standards for cultural property management across UCL and ensure compliance with Museum Accreditation, SPECTRUM requirements, and both ethical and national and international legal requirements (e.g. CITES and Human Tissue Act).
