About

Join an exciting family workshop at the UCL Grant Museum of Zoology that will kickstart our museum programme inspired by THE HERDS: a groundbreaking public art and climate initiative designed to inspire action and renew our bond with the natural world, touring internationally from April to August 2025.

From the pangolin to the jaguar, hippopotamus, corals and more, create your very own badge and learn what research is taking place to protect these animals and their habitats.

Badge Cafe helps people relax, create and connect by reusing old books and magazines to create badges. Welcoming, easy and fun, it's all about exploring your own creativity however you like, and finding the beauty in discarded and found materials. Swing by for a minute or bed in for an hour or more – you might surprise yourself!

Access

Access to the museum, and all public areas within it, is step-free. Further information can be found on the planning your visit page.
