Matthew Bartlett

Matt Bartlett

Matt is a clinical vascular scientist, working for the Royal Free London, NHS Trust.  Having gained his undergraduate degree in Physics (BSc Hons) from The University of Sussex, he then went on to study at King's College London, where he obtained an MSc in Vascular Ultrasound.

His PhD project consists on understanding why arteriovenous fistula (AVF) fail (including non-maturation, stenosis due to intimal hyperplasia and ultimately thrombotic occlusion) using CFD.

Matt lectures on Ultrasound Physics at City University London and sits on the Education Committee for the Society for Vascular Technology (SVT), as well as representing the society as a professional group member of the Academy for Healthcare Science (AHCS).
