This module introduces students to central topics in Calculus, including limits, continuity, differentiation, integration, infinite series, optimisation, and first and second order differential equations. The course covers functions of single variables and multivariate functions. Examples that illustrate the taught topics and their practical application in Management, Economics, and Finance are presented.

The aim of the course is to provide students with the understanding of mathematical concepts, present them with applications, and develop strong quantitative thinking skills. The concepts and methods covered in the module will be applied in later modules and support the analysis of complex management problems and models.
