Description

The context of the module Delivering Results Through People is management in organisations and the challenges of designing, building, and operating organisations.

 

The module introduces students to up-to-date studies on individual differences, motivation, feedback, and leadership. In addition, it explores the challenges of building teams, managing projects, and working under stress. The module provides students with practical tools for managing others and delivering results, based on the current practices of leading companies and consulting firms. The module explores these issues and approaches through practical examples from the day-to-day operations of companies and consulting projects.

 

Delivering Results Through People aims at introducing students to the challenges of managing and working with people and providing students with an up-to-date knowledge of relevant academic studies. It provides students with insights into the challenges of managing people from selected companies and projects. Finally, it provides students with a safe environment to practice their people management skills.
