UKAS accreditation - Amyloidosis

The Jack O’Neill Laboratory  (JONAL) at the National Amyloidosis Centre has just received UKAS accreditation for histology, proteomic and genetic diagnostic work in amyloidosis. This is a major achievement for any  laboratory and recognises their high quality diagnostic work in a rare disease. The JONAL is the first laboratory to be UKAS accredited for proteomics in the UK and an example of rapid translation of research into patient benefit.
