What is your current role, and what do you enjoy most about your job?

I work part-time in the Rayne Building as Front of House reception for the Division of Medicine. I enjoy meeting different people every day and getting to know a lot of people very well. The variety in the job makes the job interesting and makes the day go quickly.

What do you do in your role?

Every morning, I help to process and receipt deliveries to the Rayne building with my colleague Lemmie, the Rayne deliveries operative. I welcome visitors and ensure they have a right to access the building. As we are a research building with all sorts of equipment and this is an important check.

My role also involves some admin support work such as meeting room bookings,  copying right to work documents for our HR Manger and processing payments on the department credit card. I also assist with weekly oat milk delivery orders to the Rayne.  I have recently been involved in some wellbeing activities for the building and I organise a weekly Sudoku and a Riddle of the Week.

I am also a trained Fire Warden for the division.

What are your interests outside work?

I love to travel and I am currently learning French.
