The Rising Stars programme celebrates exceptional early-career scientists who have made significant contributions to the field of immunology and their communities. Candidates must have a maximum of ten years of professional immunology experience after completing their PhD.
Final selection is based on the candidate’s scientific achievements, leadership potential, and community impact. Following his successful selection, Dr Robinson will present his work at the International Congress of Immunology in Vienna in August as part of a dedicated Rising Stars session.
Dr Robinson is a Senior Research Fellow and Principal Investigator working in the Department of Ageing, Rheumatology, and Regenerative Medicine. He completed his PhD in immunology in 2018 at UCL and secured a Versus Arthritis Career Development Fellowship in 2022 to continue his novel research investigating the immunopathogenesis of systemic lupus erythematosus.
He is also Co-Chair of the Division of Medicine ECR Network and is an active member of the Athena Swan SAT.
It’s an incredible honour to receive this international recognition by IUIS. I’m excited to share my work and learn from fellow scientists who are shaping the future of immunology.
