The Department of Renal Medicine and the Institute of Child Health Kidney Development and Disease Group have come together to form a unique kidney research centre called the UCL Centre for Kidney and Bladder Health and will focus on clinical translational research across all ages with a mission to prevent kidney disease and provide state-of-the-art diagnostics and therapeutics for children and the adults they become with kidney and bladder disease.
It will be co-led by Professors David Long (ICH) and Alan Salama (DoRM).
