The Institute has again improved its position in the QS world rankings for universities.
This is a remarkable achievement, reflecting the industry and skills of staff in the delivery of research and education.
Director, Professor Stephen Porter, said: “The continued rise in our global position, together with our recent award of NIHR funding for an Oral Health Theme as part of the Biomedical Research Centre, recognises our commitment to achieving excellency in dentistry and allied oral health.
“I’d like to congratulate all our postgraduates and my colleagues on a job well done.”
UCL as a whole has eight subject areas besides dentistry ranked in the global top 10, and four areas in the top 5 worldwide; the university also ranks Number 1 in London for Medicine.
