Our Orthodontic Department was well represented at the recent European Orthodontic Congress in Montreux, Switzerland.
Kate Parker (3rd year MClinDent student) was one of three people selected for the Houston Oral Presentation Research Prize for her RCT investigating “The efficacy of a patient decision making aid in Orthodontics” (supervised by Dr Fiona Ryan and Professor Susan Cunningham).
Sama Al-Junaid (3rd year MClinDent student) was one of five people selected for the Houston Poster Prize for her work investigating “Career satisfaction and work-life balance in Orthodontics” (supervised by Professor Susan Cunningham and Miss Samantha Hodges).
Alice Dyke, Lydia Harris, Rupal Shah (2nd year MClinDent student) and Rob Smyth (1st year MClinDent student) also presented posters at the congress.
