  • Professor Andrew Eder recognised for services to global philanthropy

We are delighted to congratulate Professor Andrew Eder on being awarded the Certificate of Merit for Services to Global Philanthropy by Alpha Omega.

As Chair of the London chapter of the Alpha Omega Charitable Trust since 2003, Andrew has helped raise in the region of £1m which has been distributed to support oral and dental health projects around the world.

Projects have included improving oral health awareness and education, supporting undergraduate and postgraduate education and research, improving and renewing clinical facilities and delivering care, with some projects dedicated to managing the underprivileged and patients who have experienced severe trauma  and those with special needs.

Alpha Omega is an international dental society established in 1907 and has over 10,000 members.
