Campus Improvements: Main Quad Renovation Work
Renovation work is currently taking place on the iconic Main Quad and Central areas of the Wilkins Building. The aim of this work is to enhance the campus experience for everyone. Whilst work is ongoing, the Main Quad will not be accessible and the Campus tour route will change slightly to reflect that and the meeting point for our tours has changed to the UCL Student Centre.

Research Excellence Framework 2021The Rockefeller Building
The Rockefeller Building is one of our main hubs. It is used widely by undergraduate students as well as a site of further learning at postgraduate level and beyond. It was the first home of UCL's Medical School and Nurses Home and now houses the UCL Eastman Dental Institute, supporting a vibrant community of postgraduate and PhD students, staff and researchers.
The Cruciform Building
This Grade II listed landmark was designed by renowned Victorian architect Alfred Waterhouse. It opened in 1906 as the new University College Hospital. Serving as a hospital for over 90 years, it was vacated by the NHS in 1995 and subsequently purchased by UCL. Following an extensive £50 million renovation, the building now houses the Wolfson Institute for Biomedical Research and UCL Medical School's pre-clinical teaching and learning facilities.
