Our innovative bachelor degrees align medicine and surgical practice with disciplines such as business, enterprise, and sports and exercise science.
At master's level, we offer a selection of theoretical and practice-based programmes in areas such as aesthetics, burns, perioperative and regenerative medicine.

Medical Business and Innovation degrees
At the Faculty of Medical Sciences, we offer courses that feature business, innovation, or enterprise either within the curriculum or among the transferable skills you will develop as a student.

Sport Medicine, Exercise and Rehabilitation degrees
We offer courses in Sport, Performing Arts Medicine, Exercise and Rehabilitation. Join our world-class Division of Surgery and Interventional Sciences.

Surgery, Anaesthesia and Perioperative Medicine degrees
We offer a broad range of postgraduate and master’s programmes in aesthetics, burns and plastic surgery, anaesthesia, perioperative medicine, nanomedicine and regenerative medicine.
Switch degrees if your interests change
Most of the undergraduate degrees offered by the Faculty of Medical Sciences have a shared first year. This means that you have the option to switch degrees if your interests change.
Our shared first yeariBSc degrees
Our iBSc programmes are intercalated degrees. They are for students who have completed two years of an undergraduate medical programme to build a specialist skill set in any of our available areas. These are delivered by clinical experts and academics undertaking world leading research.

iBSc Sport & Exercise Medicine
An exciting opportunity to study the scientific basis of Sport and Exercise Medicine, the newest medical specialty.

iBSc Surgical Sciences
The Surgical Sciences iBSc introduces surgical skills, surgical practice and research methodology to medical trainees, in a different way to the standard undergraduate curriculum.

Intercalated iBSc degrees
UCL offers a limited number of iBSc places to external students who are currently studying at a UK medical school.
