We have plenty of measures in place to support the safety and welfare of our staff, students, visitors, contractors, and members of the public on our premises.

Through policies and guidance, we actively manage the hazards and risks that arise from the activities taking place within our labs.

This might involve the safe use of lab equipment to the handling and disposal of chemical and toxic substances.

How do we keep up to date with new developments?

We constantly improve our safety systems through review processes. This ensures we can maintain best practice and the highest standards.

We have an appointed Safety Team that provides safety advice to all staff, students and visitors on health and safety issues. They work to maintain high safety and operational standards.
