  • UCL and CRA have worked together to establish a new Undergraduate Doctor of Medicine (MD) programme at the Princess Srisavangavadhana College of Medicine (PSCM) in Bangkok, Thailand.
  • A unique feature of the PSCM MD programme is the opportunity for PSCM students to come to UCL for a year to study for an intercalated Bachelor of Science (iBSc) programme.
  • PSCM students can pursue a subject in considerable depth and access ground-breaking research and education in the Life, Medical, Physical and Social Sciences at UCL.
  • The iBSc allows medical students to undertake a project in one of several world-leading research departments at UCL.

Guidance and requirements will be available to you in the dedicated UCL iBSc Applicant Portal for iBSc International Partner Students. Please refer to the resources provided to you for further information. 

This programme is only open to medical students from the Princess Srisavangavadhana College of Medicine (PSCM)

UCL Application process

Applications for the 2025-2026 academic year are now open for PSCM Cohort 3 students

Please note: this application process and related guidance is only for students from the Chulabhorn Royal Academy (CRA), Princess Srisavangavadhana College of Medicine (PSCM) Doctor of Medicine (MD) programme in respect of the articulation arrangement leading to an iBSc from UCL.

At this link you will also have access to detailed guidance about your application and admissions process. Make sure to follow this information carefully to ensure that you meet the deadlines specified. 

iBSc allocation process

iBSc international partner students who are eligible to study at UCL must enter the iBSc allocation process. You will receive supporting resources with more information on the iBSc allocation process, information on individual programmes, and the iBSc fair during the course of your application process.

Please note: The UCL team will provide the appropriate and most up-to-date information about iBSc programme entry requirements that will be applicable to you, before you make your iBSc programme preference selection. Please be aware that there are specific programme entry requirements for ‘iBSc’ programmes. These may not be the same as ‘BSc’ programmes. 

UCL reserves the right to specify an additional language requirement for an applicant or to require a higher level than specified by the programme, if it is felt to be necessary
