Professor Faye Gishen
Director of UCL Medical School
Faye was appointed as Director of UCL Medical School and Head of the MBBS Programme in April 2021. Her clinical role is as a Consultant in Palliative Medicine.
She is a Doctor of Education, having undertaken her research in undergraduate curriculum mapping. Faye is a Principal Fellow of the global Higher Education Academy. Faye has also been awarded three UCL Provost Awards across three domains, most notably the 2020 Inaugural Provost Team Award for Embedding Equality, Diversity & Inclusion.

Professor Ann Griffin
Deputy Director UCL Medical School, Director of the Research Department of Medical Education, lead for Postgraduate Programmes and Scholarship and Honorary Consultant NHS London.
Ann is a Professor of Medical Education Research and an Adjunct Professor in Medical Education and Family Medicine at the Chulabhorn Royal Academy in Thailand.
During her time with the medical school she has established the Research Department of Medical Education (RDME) and also leads the Postgraduate Medical Education Unit. Ann is a Doctor of Medicine and a Doctor of Education. She is one of 1,400 academics to have obtained Principal Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.

Gaynor Jones
Head of MBBS Management
Gaynor has extensive experience in MBBS programme management having contributed to the mergers of 3 medical schools and, in 2011, leading a major re-structuring of MBBS professional services to establish the team within the newly created Division of UCL Medical School.
A language graduate, Gaynor has a Postgraduate Certificate in Education and an interest in medical education. Gaynor contributes to consultancy activities and leads a project in collaboration with Medical Schools Council.
