What do we do
UCL TB is a leading interdisciplinary network tackling tuberculosis through research, clinical practice and global collaboration. Our work spans diagnostics, treatment and epidemiology, with major clinical trials such as TB-CHAMP, SHINE and ZeNix helping to shape safer, more effective care worldwide and inform World Health Organisation (WHO) guidelines.
We publish over 100 research papers annually and play a key role in policy development in the UK and globally, supported by partnerships with organisations including WHO, London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) and Africa Health Research Institute (AHRI). Together, we bring expertise from across disciplines to reduce the global burden of TB and improve patient outcomes.
