UCL Eastman Dental Institute is globally renowned for excellence in postgraduate dental training. Farnaz chose it for its reputation and was thrilled to train at such a prestigious place.

Umair competed at the highest sporting level and though his career took a different path, he is now able to combine his passion for sport with his work as a dentist.

Dental Hygienists Helen Kirkwood and Isobell Linnane studied the Eastman distance-learning MSc programme. Most teaching is delivered online with two or three hands-on weeks at the Institute each year.

Yanel joined the full-time Conservative Dentistry MSc after starting the part-time MSc in Restorative Dental Practice at 123 Grays Inn in 2014.

From Jordan, Lama studied Special Care Dentistry MSc, having previously completed her Paediatric Dentistry DDent at the Eastman.

Letica is from Paraguay and studied Special Care Dentistry MSc at the Eastman.

Asim joined the Eastman Dental Institute after attending a free taster day, which introduced him to the course. He found that our flexible degree allows him to balance learning with dental practice.

Elavarasi is from Malaysia and studied DDent Paediatric Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute.

Mohammad's passion for Prosthodontics led him to decide to do the Prosthodontics MClinDent programme at the Eastman.

Richard is from the UK and studied Periodontology MClinDent at the Eastman.

Kunal studied Endodontics MSc in the Restorative Dentistry Department.

Kritanjli is a graduate of the Eastman's Implant Dentistry Diploma programme and felt that the teachers had extensive knowledge and skills within their field of expertise.

Nick is from Greece and is a graduate of our Paediatric Dentistry DDent.

Shivani studied our MSc Periodontology after studying a short course at the Eastman Dental Institute.

Polly chose UCL Eastman for its unique MSc in Oral Medicine in the UK. Enjoying the course, she stayed for a PhD, funded by UCL Grand Challenge Studentships and Overseas Research Scholarships.

Tomoko Kumagai from Japan joins us after receiving a prestigious MRC Clinical Research Training Fellowship to investigate the mechanism of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).

Clinical Experience PhD in Oral Medicine in the Clinical Research Department. Abdullah is sponsored by King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, through Saudi Cultural Bureau in the UK.

Nur Asyura Binti Nor Amdan is researching biofilms and molecular microbiology, funded by a scholarship the MARA scholarship offered by the Government of Malaysia.

Enas was a PhD candidate in the Microbial Diseases Department investigating Antimicrobial Resistance. The project was funded by the Schlumberger Foundation - Faculty For the Future Programme.

Julie was a PhD candidate within the Centre for Oral Health and Performance, investigating the oral health of elite athletes and impact on performance.

Dallas was a PhD candidate in the Microbial Diseases Department investigating the microbial ecology of dental plaque through the visualisation of hydrogen-ion concentration microgradients.
