The TTI platforms receive funding from the CRUK City of London Centre and the Cancer Institute. The CRUK Centre is responsible for their governance. The platforms are open to CRUK City of London Centre members to support their research. Funding also comes from the Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre (ECMC), National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) UCL Hospitals Biomedical Research Centre, and the Medical Research Council (MRC).

Bioinformatics Translational Technology Platform
The Bioinformatics Translational Technology Platform focuses mainly on genomics projects, but is expanding to support other data types.

ECMC GCLP Facility
The Good Clinical Laboratory Practice Facility (GCLP) provides support for the analysis of clinical trial samples, in partnership with the UCL Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre (ECMC).

Flow Cytometry Translational Technology Platform
The Flow Cytometry Translational Technology Platform provides equipment and expertise in flow analysis, cell sorting and mass cytometry to cancer researchers.

Genomics Translational Technology Platform
This platform provides access to state-of-the-art genomics equipment, next-generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation, and affordable genome engineering services.

Microscopy and Imaging Translational Technology Platform
The UCL Cancer Institute Microscopy and Imaging Translational Technology Platform provides cutting edge imaging techniques to cancer researchers at the UCL.

NIHR UCLH Clinical Research Facility
This clinical facility facilitates the translation of basic science knowledge into improved patient care by providing support for developing and testing new diagnostics and therapies.

Organoid Platform
The Organoid Platform provides support to researchers using organoid models across the Cancer Institute and CRUK UCL Centre.

Preclinical Radiotherapy Facility
The Preclinical Radiotherapy platform, with rotating X-ray gantry, combines cone beam CT imaging and x-ray microbeam targeting.

Proteomics Research Translational Technology Platform
This platform offers collaborative proteomics research support for projects at the Cancer Institute and within the CRUK UCL Centre.
Pathology Services
We offer a range of pathology-based services, from processing to access to tissue samples. These are based within the Paul O'Gorman and Rockefeller Buildings. Our pathology services are overseen by Professor Adrienne Flanagan, Head of Department of Cancer Biology and Pathology.

Pathology Translational Technology Platform
The Pathology Translational Technology Platform provides a wide range of tissue-based and molecular services to research scientists within the UCL Cancer Institute and throughout UCL.

Biobank
The UCL Cancer Institute Biobank provides access to normal and diseased human tissue samples which are surplus to diagnostic requirements.

Immunopathology Translational Technology Platform
This service provides microscopy-based techniques (e.g. single and multiplex immunolabelling) to identify novel biomarkers and for studies targeting the tumour microenvironment.
