CI Postdoc Society
We are a group of approximately 100 members. Postdoctoral researchers can develop their personal and academic skills through a variety of career development workshops, courses and scientific events.
Our mission
- To encourage scientific discussion, networking and collaborations between early career researchers.
- To support career development through resource identification and promoting skill sharing.
- To promote a collaborative, inclusive, supportive, creative and sustainable research environment.

How do we achieve our mission?
- Annual CI postdoc retreat
- Social Events
- Monthly postdoc brunch/lunches
- CI socials - Last Friday of every month (co-hosted with CI PhD student committee)
- Postdoc town halls
- Buddy scheme for all new postdocs
- CI postdoc mailing list - all postdocs can email for reagents/advise, share job opportunities/seminars.

Research in progress seminars
Cancer Institute Research in Progress seminars (CIRPS) take place every week on Tuesdays at 10:00am for postdocs to present their work to UCL researchers.
