This popular one-day Training to Teach course will help you to develop your teaching skills and confidence, using material underpinned by education theory and evidence, but focusing on practical application and useful tips.
Structure of the day
Registration is at 8.45am and the day finishes at 5pm. Tea and coffee are provided throughout the day. Each venue has nearby provisions where you can purchase your lunch.
A maximum of 18 participants per course will work with two experienced facilitators in our highly interactive sessions. A course book will be provided on the day and pre-reading sent in advance. Topics include: setting SMART learning objectives; lesson planning; encouraging active participation in your teaching; and giving and receiving feedback.
You will have the opportunity to apply your skills in the afternoon, in our small group micro-teach sessions, with peer and expert feedback.

The course fee is £200.00 and payment must be made at the point of application.
