We’re very pleased to announce that the first stage of a major estates upgrade for UCL Medical School is now underway.   The upgrade is designed to develop Student HUBS and enhanced teaching space at each of our 3 main campuses.   Plans and progress will be published on the UCLMS website as the projects develop at each site.

• Stage 1 is to develop a Student HUB at The Royal Free and to co-locate the UCLMS leadership, academic staff and administrators in newly refurbished offices.  The immediate impact is that the Medical Student Office has closed and the administrators for Vertical Modules, Quality Assurance, Clinical Placements and the Foundation School have moved temporarily to the offices set out below.
• Stage 2 is to develop a Student HUB at The Whittington Hospital which will co-locate the library with new social and teaching space in the Highgate Wing, and to relocate the Clinical Skills Centre to the current Whittington UG Centre.
• Stage 3 is to develop a Student HUB in the Cruciform Building with enhanced library, teaching and social facilities.
