6TiME - November 22nd 2016
6TiME was held in the Whittington Clinical Skills Centre in Archway in late November. We were pleased to welcome delegates from across the UK and further afield! Delegates commented on the broad variety of interesting and useful workshops on offer.
These were complemented by stimulating and thought-provoking plenary that provided lots of food for thought on the chosen theme of “Medical education in the current climate". We heard perspectives on this from esteemed speakers including Prof Terence Stephenson, Director of the GMC and Prof Deborah Gill, Director of UCL Medical School.
Encouraged by all the positive feedback from delegates we are now looking towards 7TiME - watch this space!
“This was a much more informative and inspiring day than I had even hoped for. Great introduction to a field I have felt on the brink of for a long time. “
“This was an outstanding day. The most useful day of study leave I have had in my career!”
“This was a very useful and well planned conference - I enjoyed myself a lot but also learnt a huge amount about medical education. Thank you for organising such a great event!”
“Fantastic variety of plenary sessions which were all relevant to the overall theme of the conference. I particularly enjoyed Dr Scott Rice's talk as it allowed the audience to see how Medical Education can play such a key role alongside one's clinical commitments.”
“The speakers were all very engaging and all the content was very relevant and up to date”
“All round excellent conference; practical, inspiring, useful and interesting! I am already recommending it to my peers for next year.”
“Really interesting speakers, in particular Prof Gill and Dr Rice. Dr Bennett's session was also very informative”
Thanks also to the many poster presenters who shared their insights and experiences from running educational projects.
