As UCL once again buzzes with new and returning students preparing for the start of the academic year next week, the Department of Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering is moving in to brand new lab and state-of-the-art lecture rooms.

Behind the leafy façade above UCL’s iconic Print Room Café, on the top floor of the Wilkins building’s South Wing, Medical Physics and Bioengineering will open its doors this term to a bright and airy set of rooms for teaching, building and experimenting.

Equipped with everything a budding or accomplished engineer might need, from 3D printers to a laser cutter, and Lecturecast enabled teaching space, our students and researchers can focus on their work in some of the best surroundings UCL has to offer.

See this week’s progress on getting the space ready for the new term in the photos below.
