UCL Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering

Are you a student considering a PhD? Are you interested in industry but you're still a little curious about academia? Join us at lunchtime on Tuesday 24th January to discuss doing a PhD in UCL Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering:

  • What is a PhD?
  • How are they seen by academic and non-academic employers?
  • What are the pros and cons?

We will be joined by a panel with different academic and industrial backgrounds who will answer your questions and have an honest conversation about pursuing doctoral studies and the state of the profession.

If you have questions you’d like to submit to our panel, please use this Google Sheet. See you there!

When? 1:05 pm - 1:50 pm, Tuesday 24th of January. Where? 1.03 Malet Place Engineering Building.

This is an internal event for all UCL undergraduate and postgraduate students organised by the department's Athena SWAN careers sub-committee.
