Title: Improving quantification of PET radiotracer uptake in the lung

Abstract: In this talk, I will gave on overview of the work we have performed at the Institute of Nuclear Medicine on methods to improve quantification in the diseased lung, and in PET/CT in general. I'll use this topic to touch on a wide range of topics on quantification that have wider applicability than just lung disease. Issues that will be addressed include motion, tissue fraction effects and image reconstruction.
