About the Speaker
Dr Tom Smith
Senior Research Fellow in Naval Architecture, Deputy Programme Director for Marine Engineering MSc and Naval Architecture MSc at UCL Mechanical Engineering
Prior to joining UCL, Dr Smith worked for BMT as a Senior Naval Architect. He is a Chartered Engineer and a member of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA).
