I am pleased to share the following good news. Jeff Galkowski was successful with his ERC Synergy grant application.

The ERC Synergy project, Phase-space-inspired numerical methods for high-frequency wave scattering: from semiclassical analysis through numerical analysis to open-source software, led by Jeff Galkowski, Euan Spence (University of Bath), and Pierre-Henri Tournier (Sorbonne University), has been awarded €8,725,537 in funding over a six-year period of which €3,489,915 will come to UCL. The project will bring four postdoctoral fellows to the department over the duration of the grant as well as a number of visitors and workshops.
