STS Studentships - gain valuable work experience

UCL Department of Science and Technology Studies offers paid and unpaid research studentships for work experience. These are associated with staff and alumni research and engagement activities. These studentships normally are offered during the summer. These studentships are intended primarily for undergraduate students to offer paid work experience in research. Taught postgraduate students may apply, but undergraduates will be considered preferentially. Research postgraduate students are not eligible to apply. Employment requires a right-to-work in the UK.

General skills for the post include: excellent time management, ability to work independently and to multi-task, excellent communication skills, and ability to take initiative. UCL student status is required for this position.

We also support studentships for the STS Newsroom to give students experience in science communication for both print and podcast.
