As a disabled student, going to a new environment can often be challenging and rediscovering that support can be difficult.

I’m studying Theoretical Physics in my first year. My hobbies include playing table tennis, reading, music and piano practice. My favourite part of physics is particle physics!
However, it seems to be peace around UCL. There are not so many tall buildings and busy people, everyone seems to have smile on their face, totally different from a city centre in China!
UCL is such a vibrant and exciting place to be, everyone I’ve met has been so friendly and ready to help.
My experience at UCL has been great so far. The department has loads of professors who are leading in their fields, which I find really inspiring to be taught by them.
To put it plain and simple, UCL is where I see myself achieving my dreams – graduating with a MSci Physics degree, pursuing my passion for research and making a place for myself in the STEM world.
