A multinuclear 109Ag-31P(19F)-1H probe with z-gradients and automatic tuning/matching is used on this spectrometer.
The sensitivity specifications are:
1H 350 : 1 (>300, noise [200 Hz], 0.1% Ethylbenzene in CDCl3);
13C 227 : 1 (>190, noise [40 ppm], ASTM, 40% dioxane, 60% C6D6);
15N 33 : 1 (>20, noise [2 ppm], 90% formamide in DMSO-d6);
19F 599 : 1 (>345, noise [1ppm], LB=0.5 Hz, 0.05% Trifluorotoluene in CDCl3);
31P 248 : 1 (>150, noise [5 ppm], 0.0485 M Triphenyl Phosphate (TPP) in acetone-d6).
There is a 24-position sample changer.
After 40 years of service at UCL Chemistry, the old Oxford silver magnet, shown below, was replaced by a Bruker Ascend magnet in 2025.
