We are very pleased to announce that registration is now open for the workshop:

A Mathematical Sciences Curriculum in the Age of Generative AI

As part of the IMA/RSS/LMS Higher Education Teaching and Learning Workshop Series 2025/26, this workshop invites you to rethink what—and how—we teach in the mathematical sciences. Join us on 1 June to explore which skills and ways of thinking remain essential in the age of AI, how emerging tools can support deeper learning, and how we can equip students to engage with them critically and ethically.

Building on recent conversations about the future of mathematics higher education, this event will bring together leading educators—including Prof Michael Grove, Dr Jenn Gaskell, Dr Liz Munday, and Dr Chris Birkbeck—to develop practical recommendations for curriculum innovation. You will also have the opportunity to engage with a community of educators, exchange ideas and experiences, and build meaningful connections with colleagues working at the forefront of teaching and learning in the mathematical sciences.

📅 Date: Monday 1 June 2026

✴️ In-person at University College London
