STS PhD students - ready for the workshop

The annual IHPS workshop is hosted by an informal network of UK academic departments with a programmatic commitment to practicing and promoting history and philosophy of science.

Starting with UCL and Leeds, this network now includes Durham, Exeter, Cambridge, Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Nottingham, and is very open to adding further departments. Participating departments take turns in hosting the annual workshops. This year, the thirteenth workshop will be hosted by the Department of Science and Technology Studies at UCL.

The workshop is free and open to the public, but registration is required. To register your place please email Julia Sanchez-Dorado (julia.sanchez-dorado@ucl.ac.uk).

The workshop programme and venue details are available at the following link -

The workshop venue is fully accessible, and we abide to the BPA/SWiP Good Practice Scheme.

Kindly sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology Studies, the British
Society for the History of Science (BSHS)
and the Analysis Trust, in partnership with the EBM+ project.

For all general queries please email Chiara Ambrosio. We look forward to seeing you at UCL!
