Dr Ricardo Silva is the leading organizer of the workshop “What If? Inference and Learning of Hypothetical and Counterfactual Interventions in Complex Systems”, a workshop around the theme of how to model the impact of external changes in stochastic systems. The event is co-organized by Professor John Shawe-Taylor (CS, UCL), Adith Swaminathan (Cornell) and Professor Thorsten Joacquims (Cornell). It will take place as part of the Neural Information Processing Systems (NIPS) conference, 10 December 2016, in Barcelona, Spain.
