Dr Gianluca Baio’s research on the voting patterns in the Eurovision Song Contest has received much attention in the national and international media. Dr Baio and co-author Dr Marta Blangiardo’s (Imperial College London) paper, published in the Journal of Applied Statistics, has been quoted in the Channel 4 news website, The Economist, Liberation and Significance among others, and Dr Baio has been interviewed live on BBC radio Merseyside.
