Dr Gianluca Baio has been invited to visit colleagues at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain) in October 2013. The researchers in the Department of Quantitative Methods work in the area of Bayesian decision theory in health care assessment.
Dr Baio will work on collaborative projects to investigate issues in health economics, such as the impact of covariates in cost-effectiveness analysis and the implementation of computational methods for cost-effectiveness analysis in the presence of structural zero costs.
