  • Dr Gareth Peters to co-chair Information Processing Symposium at IEEE ISSNIP 2014 in Singapore

The 2014 IEEE Ninth International Conference on Intelligent Sensors, Sensor Networks and Information Processing (ISSNIP) will be held in Singapore from 21-24 April 2014.

The Symposium on Information Processing at IEEE ISSNIP 2014 will focus on techniques for the analysis and interpretation of data that is generated by sensor networks, as well as the use of such techniques in practical application domains. Sensor networks can now provide a rich and varied source of data streams, ranging from simple periodic measurements to complex video and multimedia streams. These data streams need to be processed within the resource constraints of sensing platforms, which can involve real-time, distributed and in-network processing. These processing tasks are creating new challenges in the fields of signal processing, machine learning, computational intelligence and data analytics.
