Dr Afzal Siddiqui has received a FURUSATO Award from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science to visit the Tokyo University of Science (TUS) this summer. Together with Ryuta Takashima of the Department of Industrial Administration, he will develop real options models for optimal management of alternative-energy technologies. This collaboration will be bolstered via another visit by Siddiqui in early 2014 thanks to a TUS Invitational Fellowship.
