In a nutshell, part time study has to be completed within two years. It has a more structured programme for the student to follow.
Modular flexible has to be completed within five years, and gives the student more opportunity to work out a pattern of study that suits their needs and life style. It tends to be more suitable for those in full time employment whilst undertaking the MSc.
UK part time students may be eligible to apply for student loans.
Full time and part time UK based students may be eligible to apply for student loans, but modular flexible students are not.

London can be an expensive city to live in, but with a little searching you can find deals to suit every budget. Self-catered accommodation may be cheaper, but some students prefer catered halls to take away the stress of planning meals and shopping. Please do look at the accommodation service website for more information about UCL accommodation.
