London School of Geometry and Number Theory (LSGNT)
Information on the LSGNT and how to apply for its PhD programme.
We are delighted to announce the renewal of the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Geometry and Number Theory (London School of Geometry and Number Theory) through an EPSRC award of approximately £5.6M. This will bring an additional 75 students in geometry and number theory to UCL, King’s and Imperial College, of which 40 will be funded by EPSRC.
Since we admitted our first cohort of students in 2014, the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Geometry and Number Theory has been a spectacular success, attracting students from all over the world, and producing world-leading research. The renewal of the programme cements the UCL mathematics department’s leading role in the UK, and is a ringing endorsement of the collaboration between the departments and our novel approach to doctoral training in pure mathematics.
