Following the launch event of RICE (Researchers in Climate & Environment), the ECR group within CIREN, we are happy to introduce a monthly seminar series where students and early researchers can get together in a low pressure space to present their current research, ideas or questions they want to explore and share within the ECR community.
Event description:
We invite masters and PhD students to come along and present a piece of their research from any discipline in the climate sciences, although you are also very welcome to come along and listen instead. These presentations involve presenting an overview of their research, or focusing on a particular topic in their research, or presenting an area in the discipline that they are particularly interested in and want discuss with the community.
Presentations will be held at the Kathleen Lonsdale Building (KLB), room 126, on Thursday, 26th March from 3-4pm. We aim to hold a number of talks depending on the number of presentations that will take up the first 40 minutes of the seminar, followed by 20 minutes of discussions. Those that want to present will be asked in a following email to list the title of their presentation so we can provide a tentative schedule of the talks.
