Sustainability Futures Science Festival: The Next 200 Years
As part of the UCL’s 200th birthday celebrations we are welcoming schools to step into the world of breakthrough science exploring sustainability and find out what might be possible in the next two centuries!
Take part in interactive stands filled with engaging, hands-on activities and find out about research from across the Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Risk and Disaster Reduction and Physics and Astronomy departments.
The festival is aimed at Year 10 - Year 12 classes but if your school is interested in other year groups please get in touch. From 3pm, the festival is open to all.
The Sustainability Futures Festival will be hosted in the UCL South Cloisters of the Wilkins Building from 10:30am – 5pm.
Layout of the day:
10:30 - 11:30: Session 1 (schools only)
11:30 - 12:30: Session 2 (schools only)
13:00 - 14:00: Session 3 (schools only)
15:00 - 17:00: Open to all.
When can we visit?
We will be welcoming secondary schools and further education colleges to visit between 10:30 - 2pm followed by a open session for all UCL staff and students.
A visit to festival will last ~60 minutes.
