MAPS IE Seminar: Reflections on Academic Entrepreneurship-Translational Research & Commercialisation
We welcome Quentin Pankhurst, Professor of Physics and Director of the UCL Healthcare Biomagnetics Laboratory in the Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering department as our guest speaker for this MAPS Innovation & Enterprise Seminar. He will be sharing his insights on "Reflections on Academic Entrepreneurship: Translational Research and Commercialisation (Without Quitting the Day Job)”.
An opportunity to hear the speaker’s experience over almost 30 years at UCL during which time he has founded or co-founded multiple spinout or start-up companies in the field of healthcare biomagnetics.
The seminar will include ample opportunity for Q&A and debate about the role of academics in the translation and commercialisation of medical devices.
