MAPS EDI Lunch Hour - Digital Accessibility: How to make teaching materials more accessible
The next MAPS Lunch Hour Conversation will take place on 30th January 2024. We welcome Ben Watson and Georgia Mann from the Digital Accessibility Team to discuss Digital Accessibility: How to make teaching materials more accessible.
The aim of this MAPS Lunch Hour Conversation is to learn more about why accessibility matters and how to implement measures in line with the Digital Accessibility Policy. As well as practical guidance on the accessibility fundamentals for all content creation, and specific support for STEMM content.
We look forward to welcoming Ben Watson and Georgia Mann from the Digital Accessibility Team.

About the Speakers
Ben started UCL in January 2022; a former law librarian and qualified teacher, he has a passion for inclusive design. Ben has experience of working with all UK education sectors and many years of experience in working to improve both the physical and digital accessibility of educational organisations.
Georgia joined UCL in January 2023; Georgia coordinates the team’s projects, communications and events to support the wider Digital Accessibility strategy. She has previously worked at an accessibility consultancy specialising in accessible social media and communications.
