Dissecting intra-cycle quantum interference in photoelectron holography
We provide a summarizing account of a series of investigations in ultrafast photoelectron holography, in which, using the Coulomb Quantum Orbit Strong-Field Approximation (CQSFA), we assess how specific holographic patterns form in an orbit-based, quantum mechanical framework. This includes well-known structures, such as the fan and the spider, as well as overlooked holographic patterns such as the spiral, and applications to parity measurement and detecting multipath interference. The latter work has been a joint effort with experimental groups, whose results back up our theory.
