UCL Institute for Materials Discovery
The UCL Institute for Materials Discovery (IMD) is at the forefront of the design and development of new, sustainable materials to tackle pressing global challenges. It brings together leading experts from multiple disciplines and links materials research at UCL across departments including Chemistry, Engineering, Biology, Medicine, and Physics. Our Advanced Materials Science MSc programmes are tailor-made to provide the scientific and enterpreneurial expertise to help you learn how to design innovative materials that are economically viable, innovative and sustainable. Our programme routes combine frontline enterprise and research-led teaching from across UCL, to train the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs in materials science.
