John Whitfield brings a unique perspective to science communication. He received a zoology PhD from Cambridge and currently works as a comment and analysis editor for Research Fortnight. Moreover, he authored two thought-provoking books, “People Will Talk: the surprising science of reputation” and “In the Beat of a Heart: life, energy and the unity of nature”, and collaborated with many world-class publications, as Science, Nature and the Financial Times. His seminar will inform us on the life and career of a journalist working at the interplay between science and policy-making.
